Final visit in Greece galeria
From 7.06 to 12.06.2010 teachers from our school ( Tomasz Pleban,
Teresa Rzepecka and Magdalena Baćkowska) took part in the final
official meeting in Greece. Participants of the visit made a summary of
two years of the project. The host school was Experimental Primary
School of Kampos from Greek island Zakynthos. During the meeting we
visited primary schools and kindergartens. Teachers taking part in this
meeting had a chance to participate in conferences devoted to Greek
educational system, to meet local governors, to observe Greek lessons,
to see school shows. There was also time to visit the national heritage
of Greece. We saw Akropolis and ancient Olimpia. After making the
evaluation of the project, full of emotions we came back to Daleszyce.The visit to Wołomin galeria
From 16-22 May 2010 the teachers from the Marian Sołtysiak
"Barabasz" Primary School in Daleszyce took part in another partner
visit within Comenius “Lifelong Learning” Programme. This
time the Primary School No 7 with Integration Units in Wołomin was the
host. Our delegation included: the Headmaster – Mr Tomasz Pleban,
the Deputy Headmaster – Mrs Teresa Rzepecka and two English
teachers – Mrs Magdalena Baćkowska and Mrs Katarzyna Papros. The
delegations of teachers from Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Germany, Latvia
and Romania also came to Wołomin.The coordinator of the school in Wołomin – Mrs Hanna Wilk provided all the guests with amazing sensations. We had an opportunity of visiting many educational places In Wołomin and comparing them to those in our region. “The Time Machine” crew went to the Kindergarten No 9 and No 5 in Wołomin, the Special School and to the Secondary School No 1 in Wołomin. At the Warsaw University dr Rafał Godoń – the representative of Faculty of Education and Jacek Romaniuk – the headmaster of Teachers’ College and European Education decided to honour us with their presence. The teachers from our partner countries shared their views and opinions on the differnences between Polish system of education and their own.
The schedule of the visit included visiting local churches, the “Łazienki Królewskie” Park, Zofia Nałkowska Municipal Library and the City Hall in Wołomin, the Hanging Gardens at the Warsaw University and the Museum of the History of Warsaw, where we had a short documentary film entitled “Warsaw will remember” presented.
The hosts organized a trip to the Białowieski National Park as well. Under the supervision of a guide we could walk and admire the untouched by the humans forest and its wild inhabitants such as bisons, wolves, boars, tarpans and deer.
Our European family also visited Toruń – the hometown of a famous Polish astronomer - Nicolaus Copernicus. We had an opportunity to take part in an astronomical show “Macrocosm” at the Władysław Dziewulski Planetarium.
The programme reached its climax during the visit to the Grand Theatre - the National Opera in Warsaw. Stanisław Moniuszko’s “The Haunted Manor” stirred up emotions and it will last in our memories for a long time.
Within the work on the Project all delegations prepared a presentation connected with handicrafts in their countries. To put the theory in practice, the teachers from Wołomin organized in their school a workshop for us.
The visit in Wołomin made an impression on us and we are looking forward to the next one. This time our teachers will go to a Greek island – Zakynthos.
Meeting in Turkey galeria
From 21.03.2010 to 27.03.2010 three teachers from our
school took part in the seventh official meeting in
Turkey (headmaster Tomasz Pleban, Tomasz Kosakiewicz, Magdalena
Baćkowska ) The host school was Buhara Primary School from Adana.
Representatives from each partner schools took part in this meeting. The schedule of the meeting was planned very carefully. Teachers taking part in the meeting visited private and public primary schools as well as Cucurova University. Teachers were welcomed by pupils from Turkish school. They could see some folk dances and some activities prepared by kindergarten pupils. Teachers also evaluated previous project meeting. There was also time to visit the most beautiful places of the region and to get to know Turkish culture and tradition. There was also a trip to Cappadocia.
During next days we were discussing project issues, we were also talking about educational systems, we were presenting final products and talking about details concerning the organization of the final trip to Greece. The rich culture and tradition of Turkey as well as hospitality of Turkish teachers impressed us.
Meeting in Portugal galeria
From 3.01.2010 to 9.01.2010 three teachers from M. Sołtysiak
“Barabasz” Primary school in Daleszyce were in Viana do
Castelo in Portugal. It was the 5th meeting within our Comenius
project. Tomasz Pleban, Magdalena Baćkowska and Agnieszka Dziurska were
the representatives of our school during this meeting. The schedule of
the meeting was planned very carefully. Teachers visited complex of
schools belonging to Agrupamento Vertical de Escolas de Darque. They
also took part in the lecture on educational systems and saw a lot of
artistic shows prepared by pupils from partner schools. We had a
meeting with the mayor of the town. We visited Minho University
and Santiago de Compostela. We evaluated our activities. This
visit was very important for all participants from 9 schools from 7
countries. Meeting in Germany galeria
From 22.03.2009 to 28.03.2009 four teachers from our school
(Magdalena Baćkowska, Ewa Klimczak, Jolanta Naszydłowska i Grzegorz
Wiącek took part in the fourth official meeting in Siegerland-Schule in
Berlin.The schedule of the meeting was planned very carefully. Apart fro the host school we visited a special school and gardening school. We met local governor of Spandau region, too. We visited the most important places of Berlin, among the others:’ exhibition : “Story of Berlin”, Holocaust Memorial and Poczdam. The headmaster of the school presented short presentations: “German educational system” and “Identity profile of Siegerland School”. The visit was very fruitful. We made an evaluation of our activities in school year 2008/2009, and prepared points for the next year.
Meeting in Latvia galeria
From 22.03.2009 to 28.03.2009 four teachers from our school
(Magdalena Baćkowska, Katarzyna Papros, Monika Kraska oraz Marta
Piórczyk) took part in the third official meeting in Latvia.
The schedule of the meeting was planned very carefully. We
visited Liepupe Secondary School and Saulkrasti Secondary school.
We took part in several workshops and observed lessons in shool in
Latvia. We saw some beautiful shows prepared by students as well as by
local artists. There was also time to visit important places. We
visited: the Munchausen’s museum at Liepupe, famous and
historical places in Riga like Old Riga, National History Museum of
Latvia , National Art Museum, The Tower of the St.Peter’s Church
and Riga Dom Cathedral. We also visited the Jelgava Palace.We
also met the local governor.
We were impressed with the rich culture and tradition of this country
Meetings in Turkey galeria
From 08/02/ 2009 to 14/02/2009 three teachers from our school
took part in the second official meeting in Turkey(Magdalena Baćkowska,
Halina Górska oraz Wojciech Bernecki ) The host school was
Buhara Primary School from Adana. Representatives from each partner
schools took part in this meeting.
The schedule of the meeting was planned very carefully. Teachers taking
part in the meeting visited private and public primary schools as well
as Sucurova University. Teachers were welcomed by pupils from Turkish
school. They could see some folk dances and some activities prepared by
kindergarten pupils. Teachers visited classes and observed how Turkish
students learn and took part in meeting devoted to Turkish educational
system, They also visited the governor of the city. There was also time
to visit the most beautiful places of the region. Members of the
meeting went on a daily trip to Antakya. With remarkable history there
is much for visitors to see in Antakya, for example Antakya
Archeological Museum with the second largest collection of Roman
mosaics in the world, the rock – carved Church of St Peter
– a site of Christian pilgrimage, the waterfall, the Ottoman
Habib-I Neccar Camii – the oldest mosque in Antakya.. There was
also a daily trip to Mersin and Tarsus.
The rich culture and tradition of Turkey as well as hospitality of Turkish teachers impressed us.
Meeting in Romania galeria
From 7/12 2008 to 13/12/2008 four teachers from our school took part
in the first official meeting in Romania. The host schools were
Scoala Cu Clasele I-VIII „Vasile Lucaciu Carei „ from
Carei and Scoala Cu Cls. I-VIII „ Dimitrie Cantemifrom” z
Baia Mare.
Representatives from each partner schools took part in this meeting.
The schedule of the meeting was planned very carefully. Teachers taking
part in this meeting had a chance to participate in conferences devoted
to Romanian educational system, to meet local governors, to observe
Romanian lessons, to see school shows. There was also time to visit the
most important and most beautiful places: trip through Carei ,
visiting castel from Carei and Oradea town ,old-medieval center,
Bear Cave from Chiscau and an orthodox Monastery „
Manastirea Sfintei Cruci” from Oradea.
Romanian teachers turned out to be very hospitable, friendly and
intelligent. It was a wonderful trip during which teachers from
nine schools from seven countries could exchange experience connected
with teaching as well as break stereotypes and create new views and
opinions.
Plastic and literary competition
On 3rd September 2008 we organized art and literary competition to commemorate European Days of National Heritage. The title of the art competition was: ”Daleszyce in the eyes of a child”. The literary competition was entitled : “Our grandparents’ lives in the times of their youth.” Children had to use various techniques to depict the most beautiful and the most important corners of Daleszyce. They also had to interview their grandparents in order to write short books about their youth. They had to describe their family house, favourite games and plays, the way of spending their free time and the most important events of their lives. What is more, children also learnt a lot of interesting things about Daleszyce during history lessons.29.08.2008
29. 08. 2008 – An IT teacher, Wojciech Bernecki, organized workshop for teachers involved in project works. Teachers had an opportunity to learn how to use modern ICT.
